Cognition Support provides a blend of herbs with GinkgoSelect (ginkgo) supporting memory and Korean ginseng maintaining cognitive function. BacoMind (brahmi) supports memory recall and supports information processing in ageing individuals. Alpha lipoic acid helps to reduce free radicals formed in the body as well as supports energy production. Korean ginseng also relieves fatigue and supports physical stamina.

Insufficient evidence is available to confirm the safety of Panax ginseng during pregnancy and lactation.

Ginkgo biloba may exert platelet-activating factor antagonist activity and theoretically enhance the effects of platelet inhibitor drugs, increasing the risk of bruising or bleeding. Use with caution when combining with anticoagulant/antiplatelet drugs.

It is recommended to discontinue use one week prior to surgery due to the potential platelet-aggregation inhibition activity of Ginkgo biloba.

Panax ginseng contains glycosides similar in structure to digoxin, which may interfere with some digoxin assay results.

Panax ginseng should not be taken concurrently with other stimulants including caffeine, due to a theoretical additive stimulant effect.

Theoretically, concomitant use of alpha lipoic acid with hypoglycaemic medication may affect glucose control. Observe patient.
