This product provides clinically trialled doses of glucosamine and chondroitin to help relieve symptoms of mild osteoarthritis of the knee including mild joint swelling, pain, reduced mobility, cartilage wear and narrowing joint space.

  • Glucosamine sulfate sodium chloride - GlucosaGreen 628.1 mg (glucosamine sulfate 500 mg)
  • Bovine sodium chondroitin sulfate - CS BioActive 293.8 mg (chondroitin sulfate) 267 mg
  • Dimethyl sulfone OptiMSM 400 mg

Adults: Take 1 tablet three times a day, or as professionally prescribed.

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, talk to your health professional before use.

Contains 240 mg of sodium per daily dose.

Contains sulfites.

Taking glucosamine supplementation long-term (>3 years) can lower plasma glucose levels in patients with osteoarthritis. Patients with diabetes or hypoglycaemia should be monitored.

However, clinical research suggests that various forms of glucosamine do not have adverse effects on blood glucose or haemoglobin A1C (HbA1C) in healthy, obese patients with type 2 diabetes or impaired glucose tolerance.

Taking glucosamine sulfate for up to 3 years does not significantly increase blood glucose or lipid levels, or cause any other disturbances in metabolism.

Due to theoretical anticoagulant activity of chondroitin, caution is advised in people with clotting disorders.

Although haematological changes have not occurred in patients taking chondroitin sulfate in clinical trials, patients undergoing anticoagulant therapy should have their blood clotting monitored.
