• Evening Primrose Oil 1g (equiv. gamma-Linolenic acid (GLA) 100mg)

Adults and children over 12 years: Take 1-2 capsules, three times a day, with food, or as directed by your health professional.

Children under 12 years: Take only as directed by your health professional.

Does not contain egg, milk, peanut, corn, tree nuts, animal products, gluten, lactose or artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.

DRUG INTERACTIONS:

Caution with tamoxifen (potentially beneficial effect).

Caution with iopinavir/ritonavir - EPO may increase drug levels (case report).

Caution with anticoagulant medications - preliminary evidence shows GLA may reduce platelet aggregation and prolong bleeding time. Concurrent administration may increase risk of bruising and bleeding.

CAUTIONS:

None noted at the recommended dose.

SIDE EFFECTS:

EPO is generally well tolerated. Mild transient gastrointestinal symptoms have been reported.
