Migraine Care includes vitamin B2 to help reduce the occurrence of mild migraines. Vitamin B6 and magnesium support a healthy stress response in the body when dietary intake is inadequate. Vitamin B6 also assists in the synthesis of neurotransmitters, with magnesium and B vitamins supporting nervous system function. Co-enzyme Q10, B vitamins and magnesium support energy production.

  • Riboflavin (vitamin B2) 200 mg
  • Pyridoxine hydrochloride 15.19 mg (equiv. to pyridoxine (vit B6) 12.5 mg)
  • Calcium folinate 347.2 micrograms (equiv. to folinic acid (activated vitamin B9) 250 micrograms)
  • Cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12) 200 micrograms
  • Magnesium (as magnesium citrate) 150 mg
  • Ubidecarenone (co-enzyme Q10) 75 mg
  • Tanacetum parthenium (feverfew) herb 40 mg (min. equiv. to dry 280 mg, std. to parthenolide 200 micrograms)

Adults: Take 1 tablet two times a day, or as professionally prescribed.

Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Do not take while on warfarin therapy without medical advice.

Contains sulfites.

anacetum parthenium should not be used in pregnancy.

Do not prescribe Tanacetum parthenium alongside NSAIDs; it may have adverse effects.

People taking medicine to prevent or treat blood clots should talk to their doctor before taking Tanacetum parthenium; it may increase the risk of bleeding.

Theoretically, Tanacetum parthenium may increase levels of drugs metabolised by CYP P450 enzymes.

People with cancer, anxiety or narcolepsy should talk to their doctors before taking vitamin B6; it may interact with their medicines.

Vitamin B6 should not be used in high doses (>100 mg) long-term, as this can induce toxicity.

Concurrent use of anti-seizure medications with vitamin B6 should be monitored.

Vitamin B12 may reduce tetracycline hydrochloride (antibiotic) bioavailability; separate doses by at least two hours.

Magnesium supplementation is contraindicated in renal failure and heart block, and should be used cautiously in people with compromised renal function.

Observe patients on warfarin taking CoQ10 dosing higher than 100 mg; an increase in minor bleeding events may occur.

Caution with CoQ10 and hypotension/hypertension; may lower blood pressure and can have additive effects with antihypertensive drugs.
