Yomogi® is lyophilized therefore heat stable and packaged with pharmaceutical grade blister packs making Yomogi® ideal for travelling.

  • Saccharomyces cerevisiae (boulardii) HANSEN CBS 5926 / CNCM I-745 250mg - Minimum 2.5 billion CFU at batch release
  • Collection Nationale de Culture et de Microorganismes (CNCM, Institut Pasteur, France) under reference CNCM I-745 or: Centraalbureau voor Schimmelcultures (CBS, The Netherlands) under reference Hansen CBS 5926

Adults and children over 2 years of age:1 capsule 1-2 times daily. Children 2-6 years of age: open the hard capsule and stir contents into food or liquid.

Traveller’s diarrhoea: 1 capsule 1-2 times daily starting 5 days before departure and continue for duration of travel.

Antibiotic use: 1 capsule 1-2 times daily.

Warnings:

Always read the label and follow the directions for use. Do not use if blister backing is damage or broken. If symptoms persist, talk to your healthcare professional.

Seek medical advice if diarrhoea persists for more than: 6 hours in infants under 6 months, 12 hours in children under 3 years, 24 hours in children aged 3 to 6 years or 48 hours in adults and children over 6 years. Contains Lactose

Contraindications:

This drug should not be used with known hypersensitivity to yeast or one of the excipients.

Due to the fact the risk of a systemic colonization with Saccharomyces cerevisiae HANSEN CBS 5926 / CNCM I -745 (synonym: Saccharomyces boulardii) is not assessable yet, patients with a heavily impaired immune defence system (e.g. HIV infections, organ transplantation, leukaemia, malignant tumors, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, long-term large-dose cortisone treatment) and patients with a central venous catheter should not use this drug.
